Family Day 2009 Where and When Our Family Day for 2009 will be on Saturday October 3rd 2009 at Racket Hall Hotel, Roscrea Co. Tipperary. Racket Hall is easy to find. It is on the Dublin Road Just before you come to Roscrea from the Dublin side. We have a full day of events and information planned: 10.00 to 11.00 We will be visited by Giggles the Clown who may bring along some friends like Mickey and Minnie, or even Tigger and Pooh. Who knows, but at any time of the day a sepcial dinosaur called Barney may also pop along. 11.00 to 12.00 A demonstration of Special Needs equipment from MurrayŐs Medical Equipment Supplies - Wheelchairs, Patient Transfer Equipment, Drooling aids etc. 12.00 to 1.00 Lunch - A carvery is organised for everyone in the Hotel Restaraunt. 1.00 to 2.00 A Dental Hygienist with experience of Rett Syndrome will talk on the various aspects of cleaning our childrenŐs teeth. 2.00 pm Onwards Families will have a chance to meet and discuss common problems that can occur as we live with Rett syndrome. Schooling - different experiences in different parts of the country Drooling - coping with it Assessments - what they tell us and what benefit this is. An Information Passport for our Rett girls Bke and Horse Riding Any other issues that arise on the day. Accommodation Members arriving the night before, or who need to stay the night of the Event, please be sure to tell the Hotel that you are there for the Rett Syndrome Family Day. The cost of your accomodation will be borne by the association. This is limited to one room per family. Family rooms are available. We look forward to seeing you in Roscrea!
